Last weekend the 1st XV beat Old Walcountians 39-14 to put themselves in first place in Surrey 1 just before the halfway mark of the season. This is a fantastic acheivment and we have not been in this position for a very long time. The scoreline was however rather flattering to us and apparently masked a less than entirely impressive performance.
