Preparation started bizarrely well and rather organised with everyone getting to the ground in good time allowing a productive warm up. It was an unusual build up to Saturday’s game as everything strangely seemed to be running smoothly: everyone arrived earlier than usual – 30mins before the game – allowing for a ‘proper’ warm up – a jog round the pitch, followed by a quick stretch.
