Gents,

A fantastic day of rugby (and entertainment!) last weekend! The 1’s winning 32-23 and the 2’s winning 61-21. More reports (both match and otherwise) to follow shortly.

Two things:-

Firstly, we have only one game this weekend – 1^st XV away at Old Walcountians – this is going to be a tough one, the last 2 years we’ve gone down there and come away with a 17-17 all draw each time. If we want to win this league, we have to come away with a win. Please let me know availability.

Secondly, Wednesday – we have a guest coach coming down to run a session – an Australian by the name of Phil Brown. I won’t give you his full CV (its pretty impressive!) but he’s worked with and nurtured some of Australia’s finest players so he could prove to be a real asset as we push towards promotion. Please make a special effort to get there this week.

Gents, we’ve had a fantastic start to this season, we’re 9 wins from 11 games in all competitions.

2 weeks left until we can all have a good break over the Christmas period, all I ask is that we work really hard for those 2 weeks, remain focused and we can go into 2012 with everything to play for.
